ZANU PF Focuses On Conference Preparations

The ruling ZANU PF party says its preparations for the forthcoming annual conference are 95 per cent complete.

Mashonaland East provincial chairperson Joel Biggie Matiza said that after the crushing victory over the MDC Alliance in a by-election held in Hwedza last weekend, the party was now focused on its indaba. He said:

We are past the election mode as we redirect our energy towards preparations for the annual conference to be held next month.

We are 95% through with the final preparations and on Wednesday (tomorrow), Rooneys will be on site to deal with the issue of pegging tents among other facilities.

ZANU PF will hold its annual conference at Goromonzi High School in Mashonaland East province.

The venue has been changed twice as it was initially set to for Murape Secondary School, then later at Mandedza High School, both in Seke District.
