Paul Gundani Appointed ZOU Vice-Chancellor

Professor Paul Gundani has been appointed the new Vice-Chancellor for the Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU) effective October 1, 2019.

The appointment has been made by President Emmerson Mnangagwa, who is the Chancellor of all State universities.

Prof Gundani replaces Primrose Kurasha, who died in February 2017. Francis Mugabe was acting vice-chancellor.

Gundani joined ZOU from the University of South Africa (UNISA ), which also offers distance electronic Learning (ODeL).

He is a full professor of history of Christianity in Africa, with more than 30 years of university experience, 16 of which were with UNISA.
