Liverpool Came From Behind To Beat Nakamba's Aston Villa In Stoppage Time

Marvelous Nakamba’s Aston Villa has lost 2-1 to European Champions, Liverpool in an EPL match played at Villa Park this Saturday.

The Villans led for a long time in the game after Trezeguet scored in the 21st minute when he fired McGinn’s cross over the line.

Liverpool would dominate throughout though and finally got their breakthrough in the 87th minute when Robertson caught out the Villa defenders and nodded home Sadio Mane’s cross from close range.

Mane sealed the three points for the Reds at stoppage time when he flicked his header past Heaton and into the far netting.

Liverpool will once again face The Claret and Blue Army in the Carabao Cup quarterfinals next year.
