The police in Essex has arrested a young man who was driving a lorry that had 39 dead bodies BBC News reports.
According to the publications, the 25-year-old driver who hails from Northern Ireland entered Uk through the Holyhead, Anglesey, on Saturday from Bulgaria:
Police were called by the ambulance service shortly before 01:40 BST after the discovery at Waterglade Industrial Park in Eastern Avenue, Grays.
The lorry driver, a 25-year-old man from Northern Ireland, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.Early indications are that 38 adults and one teenager have died, the force said. There were no survivors.
No further information has surfaced so far about the dead bodies and the driver of the truck. We will update this article as details come in.
