Magaya To Reward Yadah Stars If They Avoid Relegation
Yadah Stars FC owner Walter Magaya has promised his players bonuses and improved wages if they manage to retain the club’s premier league status.
Coach Genesis Mangombe revealed that the players are now fully focused on survival after the clergyman made the offer. He said:
The prophet talked to the players. The chairman (Evans Chatambudza) was there as well, as were the other members of the executive.
FeedbackWe all agreed on the importance of playing Premiership football and it was also agreed that there will be improved bonuses and better remuneration if the team managed to survive the chop. So, the boys are on it.
At one point Yadah Stars played 10 league matches without winning a single one. Now they have won two and drawn one of their last three games against Triangle, Ngezi Platinum and Dynamos respectively.
