FULL TEXT: Doctors Respond To Govt’s “Return To Work Without Fail” Directive

Doctors have responded to the government’s order which directed them to return to work on my Monday 7 October without fail. The order came after junior doctors rejected the government’s offer to increase their allowances by 60%. They said that the increment was too insignificant in the current inflationary environment. It also came after senior doctors had also declared incapacitation and joined the over a month old industrial action. We present below the doctors’ full statement.
