Highlanders Beat Chicken Inn To Ease Relegation Fears

Highlanders defeated cross-town rivals Chicken Inn 2-0 in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match played at Barbourfields Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

The win sees Bosso climb up the log to ease relegation fears, and newly-appointed technical manager, Hendrik Pieter de Jongh, hailed Prince Dube who netted the second goal. Said de Jongh:

I told him (Dube) to wake up because he was asleep in the first half, he was dreaming but in the second half, he was a changed striker. He is a good striker and I told him that.

Highlanders scored both goals in the second half, the first through Brian Banda and the second, a strike by Prince Dube.

Dube has now scored 10 goals in 2019, four in league games, a single strike in a Cup competition and five for the Warriors.
