Junior Doctors To Stage Demo At Parirenyatwa Hospital
The Zimbabwe Hospital Doctors Association (ZHDA) says its members will on Thursday staged a demonstration at Parirenyatwa Hospital.
Writing on microblogging site Twitter on Wednesday, ZHDA secretary-general Dr Mthabisi Anele Bhebhe said:
Tomorrow doctors in Harare will convene at Parirenyatwa Hospital to stage another protest against poor wages
The Health Services Board (HSB) has not moved an inch to resolve the impasse. Officials, there are watching and enjoying as the health system crumbles. We will be visiting their offices tomorrow.
Junior doctors have been on strike since 3 September 2019 citing poor remuneration and shortages of equipment at public health institutions.
