Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister, Monica Mutsvangwa, has said that 15 unidentified individuals tried to abduct the acting president of the Zimbabwe Hospital Doctors Association, Peter Magombeyi from his hospital bed.
Mutsvangwa also alleged that members of the Zimbabwe Republic Police managed to stop the abduction.
Briefing members of the media on Magombeyi’s matter on Wednesday 25 September, Mutsvangwa added that the doctor had made a statement t the police on his alleged abduction.
She also said that medical tests had been conducted on him by government and private doctors. Results have not yet been availed.
