Do A Noble Thing And Cooperate With The Law Enforcement Agents - Togarepi To Dr Magombeyi

The Zanu PF youth secretary Pupurai Togarepi has urged Dr Magombeyi to cooperate with law enforcement agents who are investigating his abduction case. Dr Magombeyi was allegedly abducted on Saturday evening last week and was found near Nyabira on Thursday evening. He has reportedly refused to speak to the authorities ever since he was found.

Pupurai Togarepi speaking to ZimMorning Post said Magombeyi is a Christian and he told his housemates that he was going to church on that fateful Saturday, he should do the noble thing and speak to authorities:

We are happy that Dr Magombeyi was found safe and sound…There were reports that he advised his housemate that he was going to church and in that vein if he is a Christian his heart must be bleeding for the loss of lives at hospitals after doctors and nurses downed tools in solidarity with his so called abductions. May the good doctor do a noble thing and cooperate with the law enforcement agents.

Togarepi said Magombeyi must speak to the police so that the wheels of justice may get rolling. He also said the Dr was found with a clean shave and a charged cellphone near the vicinity of the US Embassy which in its insinuation takes a jab at the US Embassy having something to do with his abduction:

Dr Magombeyi had the audacity to give audience to media notably Studio 7 which is sponsored by the United States but he refuses to give the police information….He is a beneficiary of the government’s vibrant education policy which we trust that such products have wisdom.

I also note with concern that he was found with a clean shaven beard in Nyabira in the vicinity of the US Embassy, my understanding is when a person is abducted he cant have access to cosmetology let alone charging his cellphone
