Vice President Constantino Chiwenga had another operation on Thursday morning (today) in China where he was flown in July from a South African hospital.
This was revealed by President Emmerson Mnangagwa while addressing mourners at the late former President Robert Mugabe’s Borrowdale home. He said:
Vice President Chiwenga has been calling since the day our former president died. He is very worried from where he is receiving treatment as you know he is not feeling well. He called me again this morning as he was coming out of the theatre.
President Mnangagwa said that today’s operation went well and the VP was recovering from his illness.
Some reports have suggested that Chiwenga had an operation a few weeks ago to clear part of his oesophagus with suspicions abounding that he was poisoned.
Udzai Chiwenga kuti tamirira kambo kaye. This time tirikuda long play.
Why should ED talk about chiwenga to mugabe family-a cake snatcher!!! Kupererwa here ?
It is normal for leaders to address national issues during gatherings. Even Mugabe used to do that. If he had not said that you would say Chiwenga snub Mugabe’s funeral so hamuna kwenyu vanhu
