Tahle WeDzinza, Hope Masike And Gemma Griffiths To Grace A Debut Musical

3 Zimbabwean female musicians will grace a debut musical theatre production adapted from the best-selling local book Bongile, Daily News Live reports  Sponsored by Old mutual, named The Bongile We Are Musical, the concert will run from 6 to 9 November at the Reps Theater in Harare. Tahle WeDzinza, Hope Masike and Gemma Griffiths and Brian K and Map and Auro The Post will perform at the Musical. The Musical will commemorate 16 days of gender-based violence set for November.

Speaking about the concert Hope Masike said:

We have already started rehearsing and so far it’s lots of fun and hard work as creating scores for film or theatre is a bit more complex than just composing music for my personal album. This particular story by Chiedza is narrated from her heart and the music follows, hence working on it with other great musicians was fun and life-giving.
