Glen View Zanu PF Candidate Drills Boreholes For Residents Ahead Of 7 September By-Election

The Zanu PF candidate for the vacant parliamentary seat left vacant by Morgan Tsvangirayi’s daughter Vimbayi, after her sad passing on 10 June 2019 has drilled 15 boreholes for Glen View residents. Offard Muchuwe, has reportedly garnered resources from the government and drilled 15 boreholes for residents of Churu farm in the constituency in which he is contesting to be elected to be MP on Saturday.

Zanu-PF political commissar Victor Matemadanda said the MDC had failed to provide clean water for residents of Harare and other urban councils it controls, adding that most of the time the water is contaminated with human waste.

The Zanu-PF candidate has also promised to regularize the title deeds of the residents of Churu farm which is on the peripherals of Glen View, who he says were neglected by the previous area legialstor who never set foot in the area after she was elected in July 2018.
