  1. The problem is that this economy is no longer dtiven by zimbabweans for zimbsbweans. The finance people are now put simply puppets whose strings are being controlled elsewhere at IMF. These are monry people who dont care less about the people in that economy. They look st and monitor figures, unfortunately figures do not always account for people’s plight. The minister of finance is now caught between a rock and a hard place, on one end the people genuinely require a sustainable raise but on the other the rope controllers have already warned against wanton wage adjustments. Wrould be interesting to see how this plays out. The sad thing though is that zim is going down an outdated financing model where once they pay off all the foreign debt they hope to get fresh finance. I think all they will get is a pat on the back. We should be using these payments we are making to fix things in the country and extend our recovery period over even a genetation whilst allowing people to have a life.
