#ED/Chamisa Dialogue: ZANU PF Masvingo Resolves To Have Killer Zivhu Sacked From Party

ZANU PF Masvingo Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) has recommended the expulsion of Chivi South legislator, Killer Zivhu.

The Committee accuses Zivhu of abusing social media and saying things which are contrary to the ruling party’s beliefs.

Zivhu is currently under suspension from the party for insinuating on Twitter that he was organising a dialogue between President Emmerson Mnangagwa and opposition MDC leader, advocate Nelson Chamisa.

The Masvingo party PCC cited the same social media abuse charges as the reason Zivhu should be fired from the party.  ZANU PF Masvingo vice-chairperson, Ailess Baloyi, said that the resolution will be forwarded to the National Disciplinary Committee for consideration.

Speaking after a Masvingo PCC meeting held on Friday (today), Baloyi said:

We looked into Killer Zivhu’s stories and we realised that in some instances, he seems to be working with the opposition.

There have been calls from various individuals and groups for Mnangagwa and Chamisa to set their differences aside and have a dialogue over the socio-economic and political crises bedevilling the country.

Both ED and Nero, as Mnangagwa and Chamisa, in that order are affectionately known, have shown interest in having a dialogue to end the crises.

However, there is a standoff which emanates from the demands each side is making for the dialogue to be initiated.

Chamisa wants the legitimacy issue discussed saying that he won the 2018 presidential elections. He also wants an independent and foreign convenor to be engaged.

Meanwhile, ED is saying that he is open for a dialogue which is unconditional saying that he resoundingly won the elections. He has since initiated the POLAD, a dialogue platform that houses several other 2018 presidential candidates.
