ED Appoints 5 New High Court Judges
Five new High Court Judges have been appointed by President Emmerson Mnangagwa and will be sworn in by Chief Justice Luke Malaba when the final term of the 2019 Legal Year opens in September.
The five Justices comprise of four men and one woman. They are:
- Advocate Webster Chinamora
- Christopher Dube-Banda
- Evengelista Kabasa
- Siyabona Msithu
- Sunsley Zisengwe
The appointments were confirmed by Judicial Service Commission (JSC) acting secretary Mr Walter Chikwana on Tuesday. He said:
His Excellency the President has made the appointments of the five to the High Court bench. The Chief Justice (Luke Malaba) will preside over the swearing-in ceremony of the five on September 4.
