MDC To Appeal Ban On Masvingo Demo
Opposition MDC has said that they will appeal against the police prohibition order that banned the Masvingo demonstration that was scheduled for Wednesday (tomorrow).
The notice comes when the police have served the party with a prohibition order that has banned the demonstration.
So far the government has blocked four MDC demonstrations that were scheduled for Harare, Bulawayo and Gweru.
The State argues that they have projected that the demonstrations would degenerate into chaos.
Analysts, however, observe that it is the state security personnel who are being violent on peaceful demonstrators.

The party has also said that they will attend the court in solidarity with Masvingo Provincial Administrator, Peter Chigaba, who was reportedly arrested on Tuesday.
