FULL TEXT: MDC Issues Statement After Hwende Was Remanded To 16 October
The opposition MDC has issued a statement with regards the subversion case of party Secretary-General, Chalton Hwende, who appeared on Monday (today) before Harare Magistrates Court where he was remanded to 16 October. The party posted the following statement on its Facebook page.

Hwende is facing charges of subversion. He was further remanded to the 16th October 2019

Hwende’s case is part of the on-going systematic harrassment of political leaders and civil society activists by a rogue regime that has clearly panicked and is now determined to suppress all alternative voices in Zimbabwe
