A local journalist identified as Doubt was reportedly arrested while trying to help a woman in her 50s who had been knocked down in central Harare after anti-riot police attempted to disperse protestors.
The journalist was taken to Harare Central Police where he is detained.
The Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights are said to be trying to help him get his freedom.
