Zimbabwe’s senior women’s soccer team, the Mighty Warriors will travel 1,000km by road. The team, which participated and came third in the just ended COSAFA Women’s Championship 2019 will travel from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg by road.
It’s not clear from the reports if they had the option to fly and why they will use the road. Mighty Warriors striker Rudo Neshamba <a href="https://www.facebook.com/Rnesh07/photos/a.1575616196063799/2189504774674935/?type=3&amp;__tn__=-R">posted a complaint on her Facebook describing it as unfair treatment by the Zimbabwe Football Association</a> (ZIFA):
