Chamisa Says He Misses Debates With Mnangagwa During Their Days In Parliament

MDC president Nelson Chamisa said that he misses Parliament especially President Emmerson Mnangagwa whom he squared up with during their days in Parliament.

Chamisa said this at the launch of the Itai Dzamara Trust in Harare last Wednesday.

Dzamara, a journalist-cum-political activist was abducted at gunpoint in Glen View and was never seen again.

Chamisa also paid tribute to Independent MP Temba Mliswa as well as former MDC official and current opposition LEAD leader Linda Masarira who were present at the event. He said:

I miss our parliamentary practice especially. I miss my brother Emmerson Mnangagwa when he was on the other side, how I would pour political depth and how he would fail to defend blow to blow.

I hope to do the same, this time in a different stadium of our politics.

Linda Masarira, also a president (LEAD) in her own right, I really miss her. I want her to come back to the big family and I hope she will come back. A very courageous woman.

Chamisa was the Member of Parliament for Kuwadzana East constituency for many years before he challenged for the Presidency last year following the demise of the then party leader Morgan Tsvangirai.
