Cosafa WC: Zim Under-20 Lose To Zambia In The Semis
Zimbabwe has lost to Zambia with one goal to nil in a Cosafa Women Championship under-20 Semi-final.
Zambia got its goal from Mambwe in the 30th minute to secure the three points.
This means that Zimbabwe is out of the tournament whilst Zambia are through to the final versus South Africa or Tanzania.
Zimbabwean Under-20 Head Coach, Rosemary Mugadza described the tournament as a learning curve. Mugadza said:
It was a learning curve coming to this tournament. With the little time that we had to prepare [with] the team, we are proud of the girls that at least we managed to get to the semi-finals.
