BREAKING: Another ZTA Board Member Resigns

Another Zimbabwe Tourism Authority Board Member, Precious Nyika, has resigned following the recent resignation of board chair Osbourne Majuru.

Zim Morning post reports that the decorated technocrat tendered her resignation after an intense extraordinary board meeting that was convened Monday.

It is not clear yet as to why Nyika who is a director at Lafarge resigned.

Meanwhile, Majuru cited bad governance and interference by the acting Chief Executive Officer, Ms Rita Likukuma.

He said that her interference had effectively rendered the board ineffective.
