PICTURE: Pupils At Gokomere High School Having Samp For Breakfast

A picture has surfaced on social media showing pupils at Gokomere High School having samp (manhuchi/mashakada) for breakfast. Commenting on the picture, prominent journalist and filmmaker, Hopewell Chin’ono wrote:

This broke my heart. This is Gokomere High School. I went to Fletcher High School in Gweru, a Government school where we had pudding, fruits, tea at 10.

What we are seeing here is the direct result of Corruption and theft of public funds by political elites to fund their lifestyles.
