Popular gospel musician, Fungisai Zvakavapano, posted a video of herself ironing clothes with a pot. She said in the video that this is one solution to the clothes ironing problem brough by the 18hour long loadshedding in Zimbabwe. The pot is heated on a gas stove.
Says Fungisai in the video:
The situation calls for clever women who undertsand that their children need to go to school with ironed clothes. What you iron with is another issue. As long as your children’s clothes are ironed.
Zimbabwe has had severe load shedding or about 18 hours at a time since May 2019.
