Mapeza Buoyed By Return Of Key Players Ahead Of Bosso Clash

FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza is wary ahead of meeting resurgent Highlanders at Babourfields Stadium this Sunday in a Castle Lager Premier League match.

Mapeza has a depleted squad with only 13 senior players available in the last game, forcing him to promote three youngsters from their Under-19 developmental side in the Zifa Central Region Soccer League.

Speaking to the press to preview the match in Zvishavane, Mapeza said:

It’s a big game for us. In terms of statistics, we look good, but this one is a new ballgame altogether, so we just have to go there and play to the best of our abilities and try to get maximum points.

Lawrence Mhlanga is back, so is William Stima and Perfect Chikwende, and I hope to win. I think what we saw last week was character from the boys. They did very well despite the fact that we only had 13 players available.
