Canaan Banana's Son To Publish Memoirs Of His Father's "New Bible"
Son of the late theologian and Zim’s first president Canna Banana has come out to say, he is working on republishing his father’s work including a case study of his controversial new bible. Canaan Banana died in 2003, During the time of his career Banana had asked that the Bible be rewritten as a way of solving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the Middle East. A move that was critiqued and criticized by many scholars in Zimbabwe.
16 years after his death, his son Nathan has come out to say, he will republish his father’s work.
My silence in the last couple of weeks was purposeful. Been reading and working on republishing several works by my late father Professor and former first President of Zimbabwe Canaan Banana. The first of such publications will be this controversial case study for a new Bible. pic.twitter.com/xXLayxBTVv
