Govt Of Zimbabwe Mourns Vimbai Tsvangirai-Java

The government of Zimbabwe has expressed its sadness over the untimely death of MDC legislator and daughter to the late former Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, Vimbai Tsvangirai-Java.

In a statement posted on Twitter, the Deputy Minister for Information, Media and Broadcasting Services, Energy Mutodi said:

The government is saddened by the untimely death of Hon Vimbai Tsvangirai.

We do hereby express our heartfelt condolences to the Tsvangirai and Java families as well as the MDC party.

The government stands ready to assist the bereaved in whatever means possible.

Vimbai Tsvangirai-Java died on Monday afternoon from injuries she sustained in a car crash in Kwekwe last month.
