ZANU PF MP Buys US$210 000 Lamborghini From Europe – Report

ZimLive reports that a ZANU PF MP, Justice Mayor Wadyajena has imported a US$210 000 Lamborghini.

The Gokwe Nembudziya MP who is thought to be a close ally of President Emmerson Mnangagwa as they both hail from the same Midlands province, brought the car from Europe on a KLM cargo flight on Monday.

The report further asserts that the supercar was loaded onto a trailer at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport and driven to an unknown destination.

Wadyajena reportedly did not pay the mandatory import duty to the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) after negotiating for a rebate.

A Lamborghini is said to have unbelievable power and extraordinary performance. The report adds:

Lamborghini boasts that the Urus needs just 3.6 seconds to reach 100 kph, and can reach speeds of 200 kph in 12.8 seconds. It has a top speed of 305 kph.

Powered by a 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine offering 478 kW from 6,000 rpm and 845 Nm of torque from 2,250 rpm, the Urus is Lamborghini’s first SUV since the 1980s LM002.

Currently the beleaguered Zimbabwean economy greatly rewards and maliciously empowers the highly priviledged few on one hand while simultaneously disempowering and greatly prejudicing the less priviledged and down trodden majority. True the Zimbabwe Constitution has greatly failed to institute equality of its citizens even as it purports equality of Zimbabweans irrespective of affilliations. God bless.
