President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Wednesday commissioned the Tripartite Negotiating Forum (TNF) in Harare. Writing on his official Twitter handle after the event, he said:
Today, we commissioned the Tripartite Negotiating Forum (TNF); a transparent platform for crucial dialogue. As we progress our audacious development agenda, let us shun the culture of militancy and solve our differences by talking to each other.
With unjustified price increases affecting all, we are demanding a stronger and more responsive social dialogue, protecting both our workers and our reforming economy. Zimbabwe will only be truly open for business when collaboration is put ahead of confrontation.
The TNF brings together the government, business and labour to discuss issues bedevilling the economy at any given time such as price increases and labour remuneration.
