Norton legislator, Temba Mliswa has defended the first lady, Auxillia Mnangagwa after social media mocked her for wearing different church uniforms. Mliswa said that she is only observing different affiliations. This comes after the first lady was seen wearing different church uniforms within a very short space of time. Some suggested that she had either switched churches or she was just pretending to be a Christian. Below is his twitter thread:
1/Once we dwell on discrediting the First Lady we’re really losing focus. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with her wearing the uniform of a place she’s attending in respect&fellowship. Everyone’s aware that the family are Methodist, if anyone, the complaints should come from them pic.twitter.com/r8AnOomD4X

2/ Tolerance is about being all inclusive & not selective. “When in Rome, do as the Romans”. The FL is a hardworking woman who goes about her charitable work with great gusto&she’s spot on to observe different affiliations
