Vice President Kembo Mohadi on Wednesday appeared in Parliament to appease legislators who had complained in the past over the Vice Presidents’ no-show in the August House.
However, Mohadi’s counterpart, Constantino Chiwenga did not appear as he is thought to be in India where he is undergoing treatment fot an undisclosed ailment.
When Mohadi entered Parliament building, he was met with cheers from ZANU PF lawmakers while opposition MDC Alliance legislators received him with jeers.
MDC MP for Mutare Central, Innocent Gonese last week had raised the issue with House Speaker Jacob Mudenda over the two’s absence during Wednesday’s question and answer sessions.
