"Country's Fuel Supply Situation Is Beginning To Stabilise" - Energy Minister

Minister of Infomation, Monica Mutsvangwa has issued a statement with regards to the fuel crisis. Mutsvangwa reported that the minister of Energy informed the cabinet yesterday that the country’s fuel supply situation is beginning to stabilise. Advocate Fortune Chasi is also said to have informed cabinet that it had come to his notice that some fuel stations were now charging fuel in USD only and hiking prices as high as $7 per litre. He met the fuel dealers after the cabinet meeting and ordered them to desist from such behavior forthwith. He also warned that Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority personnel shall be out in full force, checking all service stations and those found on the wrong side of the law shall bear the consequences.
