WATCH: "The Clip Is More Than A year Old" - Chamisa's Spokesperson

There was confusion on social media over the video below which is being alleged to be the recent (20/05/2019) Supreme Court judgment over the MDC matter. The matter is in connection with an earlier High Court order that nullified the presidency of opposition leader, advocate Nelson Chamisa in the MDC. It also ordered the MDC to return to 2014 status and then proceed to an extraordinary congress to choose the replacement of the late Morgan Tsvangirai. The decision meant that Dr. Thokozani Khuphe who is currently leading a “splinter MDC” would be the interim leader of the MDC until the extraordinary congress is held. Nelson Chamisa who has since roped in advocate Thabani Mpofu said that they would appeal the ruling at the Supreme court. With the judgment pending, some social media users posted the video below suggesting it to be the one speaking to the latest case. MDC-T vice president advocate Obert Gutu and Dr. Nkululeko Sibanda (Nelson Chamisa spokesperson) claim that the video is over a year old.
