Chidzambga Says "The Next Jamie Vardy" Could Still Play At AFCON

Sunday Chidzambwa, the Warriors coach has said that there is a possibility for England-based striker Macauley Bonne to play at the 2019 AFCON finals in Egypt.

The coach also revealed that the next Jamie Vardiy was initially left out of the provisional team that has 34 players because he had not completed the necessary documentation. The Leyton Orient striker, however, managed to complete the process later in the day. Chidzambga said:

A player like Bonne, when he has a valid passport, he is worth carrying to the AFCON finals.

He scores goals

If he secures a passport, we will consider him. We have named 34 players which we are going to trim to 23 players.
