Mnangagwa Congratulates Ramaphosa For ANC Victory

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has congratulated Cyril Ramaphosa for victory by the ANC in the just ended South African elections. Mnangagwa has said that he looks forward to working closely with Ramaphosa in the strengthening of relations between Zimbabwe and SA.

Said Mnangagwa:

The ANC won the National Assembly elections, whose results were announced Saturday, with a 57.7% majority. The Democratic Alliance was the second most popular with 20.77% of the votes and Julius Malema’s EFF got 10.79% securing third place.

Ramaphosa’s inauguration will take place on 25 May 2019.
