Gaika Mine Invasion Jeopardises Campaign For Removal Of Sanctions - Mliswa

Norton Legislator, Temba Mliswa has argued that the invasion of Gaika mine and the silence of the authorities on the matter is detrimental to the Mnangagwa administration. He said that the invasion constitutes a violation of property rights and the rule of law. Below is his twitter thread:

1/The Gaika matter mustn’t be taken lightly. It’s pretty clear a lot is going on&what’s going on doesn’t augur well for Zim. What do property rights&rule of law mean? It’s important that it’s explained thoroughly for clarity’s sake. Maybe we understand it differently 🤷🏾‍♂️

2/ Why is ZCDC still trading in defiance of the Supreme Court ruling & Parly recommendations? Chitando as a beneficiary & in his weak&compromised state remains quiet @InfoMinZW @steve_hanke @ZIMCODD1 @PoliceZimbabwe

3/Pursuant to Gaika there was Battlefields where Nduna was implicated; people were quiet. El Dorado the same. Now we’ve a situation where illegal miners run Zim, taking people’s land&running riot. It’s imperative those named exonerate themselves or face the full wrath of the law

4/ Continually sweeping these matters under the carpet doesn’t do well for the @edmnangagwa name or office & PAC need to step up to advise HE accordingly @TrevorNcube @ShingiMunyeza etc where are you in this regard? PAC’s teeth need to be seen, we’re watching.

5/ Silence makes things difficult for those lobbying for the removal of sanctions @PoliceZimbabwe where is your statement on such issues? @PoliceZimbabwe & JOC are constitutionally mandated to step in & address these issues
