Harare Memorial Service For Late BZA Deputy President Held

A service was held on Friday in Harare for the William Pilbrough, late deputy President of the Build Zimbabwe Alliance party.

Pilbrough died on April 4 this year.

Family, friends and prominent people were present at the ceremony. Noah Manyika BZA president and top businessman, Nigel Chanakira graced the event.

In his eulogy, Manyika said:

William was a very amazing man and the wonderful thing about people like that is that you may know them for a very short period of time but they will always leave a mark.

We have suffered tremendous loss but at the same time we will make the best out of the example that he set.

His wife Barbara read the family tribute by Steve who is William’s elder brother. The emotional tribute read:

Thank you for 19 wonderful years together; thank you for taking us and loving us, providing for us and believing in us.

Pilbrough was born 23 June 1972 in Chinhoyi. He returned to Zimbabwe in October 2017 after working for 16 years in the diaspora.
