Possibility Of GNU In 6 Months :Human Rights Activist Claims Senior Zanu PF Member Told Him ⋆ Pindula News

The Human Rights Director Dewa Mavhinga said that a senior Zanu PF member told him that there is a possibility of a GNU in six months.

“I bumped into a senior ZanuPF official today (Friday) who said a Government of National Unity (GNU) is the only viable solution for Zimbabwe and that it might happen with 6 months.” Mavhinga said.

The last time Zimbabwe had a GNU was from (2009-2013) where the former President of Zimbabwe Cde R.G Mugabe joined forces with the late Mr Morgan Tsvangirai the former President of the then MDC-T.

There have also been some speculations that a group with ZanuPf called ” Zezuru” wants to force Mnangagwa to resign in December so that power is handed over to Vice President Constantino Chiwenga.
