Former Dynamos and Warriors striker Roderick Mutuma led his DRC club FC Lupopo to a 1-0 victory over TP Mazembe over the weekend.
This victory was the first since 2008, with the lanky striker scoring the solitary goal.
Speaking after the match, Mutuma said:
This is a sweet victory for FC Lupopo fans, for Lubumbashi and for the whole of DRC. This is their happiest moment.
The nomadic striker has featured for several clubs which include Caps United, Highlanders, Yadah and Nichrut locally.
He has also turned out for Bloemfontein Celtic in South Africa, albeit, for a short period of time. He has found the net 5 times since moving to the Congo.
