Tediuos Muchapedza Matsito Laid To Rest

The late sungura musician and Ngwenya brothers band leader Tedious Muchapedza Matsito was buried on Saturday at Restland Memorial Park in Harare.

Scores of people came to pay their last respects to the famed ‘Gede Mwana Gede’ hitmaker.

Matsito’s family and friends and fellow musicians said he was a kind man who left an indelible mark in the music industry.

Among the musicians who attended Matsito’s burial were Nicholas Zachariah, Howard Pinjisi and Somandla Ndebele who urged musicians to work together.

The late sungura legend’s son, Tedious Matsito Junior, said that he was ready to take his father’s mantle and work with other renowned musicians to achieve that goal.
