David Parirenyatwa’s Trial Postponed

Former Health and Child Care minister David Parirenyatwa’s trial has been postponed following a request by his lawyers to have the record transcribed.

Parirenyatwa is facing charges of criminal abuse after he allegedly ordered NatPham, a parastatal to hire Newman Madzikwa as its director without following due process. Parirenyatwa through his lawyers James Makina and Advocate Deepak Mehta wants the record transcribed in order to help them cross examine and proceed properly.

The matter was postponed to April 10 and the trial with continue continuously until April 12.
