MDC Youth Threats Could Soil Chamisa’s Victory – Hopewell Chin’ono

Veteran award-winning journalist Hopewell Chin’ono says that utterances made by the MDC Alliance Harare Youth Wing are undemocratic and unacceptable, and could soil Chamisa’s victory at the Congress scheduled for May.

The threats against legitimate contestants against Nelson Chamisa are undemocratic and unacceptable! His supporters should win the hearts and minds of the delegates and not threaten contestants. He is popular and doesn’t need this sycophantic record to his name as it soils any victory.

The MDC Harare youth assembly has said that: “Anyone who has aspirations, who thinks or dreams of contesting Chamisa, is declaring themselves as enemies of Hre province, an enemy of progress in Zimbabwe” That is not how democracy works, Elias Mudzuri and Douglas Mwonzora can challenge.
