Chicken Inn Football Club is in Blantyre, Malawi where they will take part in a four-team invitational tournament.
The Gamecocks arrived in the central African country on Wednesday evening and were set to play their first match on Friday against Be Forward Wanderers of Malawi at Kamuzu Stadium.
Chicken Inn coach Joey Antipas believes that the tournament gives his players the opportunity to showcase their skills and ability. Said Antipas:
We are happy that we arrived safely after a long road trip. We are here to work on our 2019 squad and we hope all our players are going to have a good run.
This tournament presents everyone in the team with a chance to prove what they are made of. However, the players should not be under any pressure.
