SA Not Yet Committed To Bail Out Zimbabwe Financially -Mthuli Ncube
The Minister for Finance and Economic Development, Mthuli Ncube said that the government is still hopeful of getting financial assistance from South Africa.
South is Zimbabwe’ major trading partner and is yet to commit to assisting Zimbabwe financially. With the rest of the world unwilling to bail out Zimbabwe, the country’s hopes lie with South Africa. Ncube had this to say:
There is no commitment, but we have ongoing discussions.
FeedbackWe are in constant talks with South Africa, they are our neighbour, biggest trading partner and we have a bi-national commission. So we have been interacting with them, to see whether they can be of help and support us whenever we need it.
