Zim Defence Forces Officers Banned From Marrying Non Commissioned Members, Those Already Married Given 6 Months To Comply

Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF) Commander General  Philip Valerio Sibanda has banned ZDF officers from marrying non commissioned members according to a memo posted by exiled former Higher Education Minister Jonathan Moyo on Twitter.

In a document posted by Moyo, ZDF officers are banned from marrying non commissioned members under the Fraternisation Policy which took effect on 1 February 2019. The policy gives those already married to each other, six months to comply or be discharged.
