Nestle Zimbabwe To Employ 10 000 Women Within Next 4 Years - Mthuli Ncube

The Finance and Economic Development Minister Mthuli Ncube said that Nestle Zimbabwe is set to employ 10 000 women within four years in its distribution unit.

Ncube said this to the media after a tour at the Nestle Harare factory on Monday. Ncube also assured foreign investors that their investment in Zimbabwe is safe. He said:

They will be employing over the next three to four years 10 000 women to distribute, Nestle products, that is SME empowerment and that is what we would like to see.

Also, we begin to understand the impact of our policies from the top, from the government’s side, how those impact companies such as Nestle.

If you are a foreign investor, you are allowed to take out 100% of your earnings or dividends and repatriate your profits, we allow that. Your investment is safe however because of the acuteness of foreign currency supply companies are unable to do that sometimes.
