Tsvangirai’s Widow ‘Misses’ Late Husband With Valentine’s Day Close

The wife of the late MDC leader Elizabeth Tsvangirai says that she misses her late husband, especially with Valentine’s Day approaching.

Tsvangirai was speaking to the Daily News on the sidelines of the event that it hurts to be a widow on Valentine’s Day. She said:

I wish he (Tsvangirai) was here with me to celebrate Valentine’s Day because we were so close — you see.

We had been married for a long time and had become so used to each other that I cannot avoid thinking about what we used to do, the good old days, you see. He was great, yet such a lovely husband.

Tsvangirai died on Valentine’s Day on 14 January 2018. He passed away at a South African hospital where he was admitted. He has suffered from a cancer ailment for some time.
