PICTURES: ‘Fake’ Soldier Arrested After Robbery Spree In Glen View

A  man claiming to be a soldier was arrested for fraud and extortion offences committed in Glenview, Harare. He has been identified as Shephard Magorimbo, who claims on his Facebook profile that he works for the Presidential Guard.

  1. Is this true? It’s hard to believe anything that the Government, the police (in this case?), or the army say. This coukd be a fake fake soldier. I mean it could be someone that the state has got to pretend that he is a fake soldier. Maybe this is a person who ZRP or army asked to pose in an army uniform to pretend that he is impersonating a soldier? Who knows the truth? Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive!
