Zimbabwe shuts down the internet across the country. All service providers are down.

1130:

We’re receiving reports that the Zimbabwe government has ordered internet companies to shut down the whole internet.

 

11AM

  • 4 Major internet providers: Econet, NetOne, Telecel, TelOne all block access to the whole internet. People can call each other but can’t access the internet at all.
  • Soldiers reportedly doing door to door raids

  • Reports from Bulawayo, Harare, Mutare, Beitbrigde and Gweru are that the cities are mostly closed as Zimbabweans stayed at home
